Nos 13 anos de existência do GUE, 2015 foi o ano com o maior número de criação de empresas, com 12.117, contra as 8.564 de 2014.

Apesar da crise, a tendência crescente do nascimento de empresas é justificada com a entrada em vigor da actual lei sobre o investimento privado em Angola.

O administrador do Instituto Nacional de Apoio às Micro, Pequenas e Médias Empresas (INAPEM), Samora Kitumba, explica que, nos últimos três anos, as taxas de falência aumentaram, e o ano passado foi “um pesadelo” para estas empresas.

“A contracção da economia contribuiu para o agravamento da situação das empresas em Angola. São vários os relatos que nos chegam de falências. Para inverter este quadro, teremos que aguardar pela retoma do crescimento”, disse.

Quanto às dificuldades para apurar o número preciso de empresas que têm encerrado nos últimos anos, Kitumba garante que a falta de consultoria credível para medir a actividade das empresas tem sido um dos entraves.

“Os dados que existem são baseados nos pagamentos de impostos. Ora, sabemos que nem todas as empresas em actividade em Angola os pagam, ficando assim complicado avançar um valor exacto sobre as falências em Angola”, explicou.

As dificuldades de acesso ao crédito, falta de capital humano qualificado, excesso de burocracia no licenciamento, infra-estruturas deficientes, falta de energia eléctrica, estradas e telecomunicações, e o fraco apoio do Estado são os maiores handicaps ao desenvolvimento empresarial de forma estável e segura.
